Tonight on the Signal sit back and enjoy a concert from Montreal’s Feu Thérèse. Pat will also dip into the prolific and ecclectic music of another Montrealer, guitarist and composer Bernard Falaise. New music will be spun from Jean Martin, The Mountain Goats, Cornelius and one very interesting cover of Dolly Parton’s “Jolene”.

Danny Boy” is overplayed and has been ranked among the 25 most depressing songs of all time so tonight Pat will not be playing it to pre-celebrate St Patty’s Day. Instead music from Julia Kent, Sean Lee’s Ping Pong Orchestra and many tracks from the new Brad Mehldau CD. Tonight’s featured concert is by the genius of John Kameel Farah.

Tonight Pat gets the Blues even with spring trying its hardest to sprung.
Soundtrack Sunday will have Pat sprinkle music from the film Genghis Blues throughout the evening. The concert tonight features solemn music inspired by Jazz, folk, pop and politics thanks to composer Frederic Rzewski, performed by pianist Milton Schlosser and soprano Kathleen Corcoran of the Augustana School of Music.
